Pelle Herfst
I have a question regarding the "Key to instrumentation" tool. I use VW spotlight for my theatrical lighting plots and also for architectural light plots. In the case of architectural light plots, i have one base drawing to put all of my light instruments in. I would like to create a "Key to instrumentation" for each room , i cannot figure out how........ Any suggestions.... Sincerely, Pelle Quote Link to comment
RickR
I haven't tried but... Try the new "image in worksheets" function. A different worksheet for each room, probably by layer or class. It might take a long time to set up each one. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted January 21, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 21, 2013 "Key to instrumentation" is designed to look at the entire document regardless of the layer and class settings. The key is created as a simple group so you can duplicate and edit the group as necessary. Quote Link to comment
C. Andrew Dunning
Pelle - Have you taken a look at Josh Benghiat's "Savvy Symbol Key" (http://www.benghiatlighting.com/software/products/savvy-symbol-key)? It MIGHT do what you're wanting. Just a thought... Quote Link to comment
JBenghiat
Thanks Andy. Assuming all your symbols are Spotlight Lighting Devices, Savvy Symbol Key lets you choose which symbols appear in each key and have multiple keys per document. -Josh Quote Link to comment
