We have foreground and background rendering options for a viewport. We can only set the foreground rendering to none. This is not logical as the foreground rendering is mostly hidden line etc... and the background rendering a real render image or nothing. So it's the background rendering that needs to be able to set to none.
A real life example: When switching from RW+HL render to HL render, you need to change the background render to HL and the foreground to none. When switching back to RW+HL, you have to set the foreground render back to HL and the background to RW. Would it not be simpler if we just can set the background render to none?
I have never found the current solution logical, so please solve this. We need to switch render methods a lot.
