Christiaan
How are we meant to explain this to a contractor? Quote Link to comment

0 Alan H
That is hilarious...(but not for you) yeah good luck explaining that one!!! You could argue you went a for a bit of art Nouveau style on that small section of railing! I presume you had to do some 2D masking to get it to look right? Quote Link to comment
0 Christiaan
Hehe, yes, it is ridiculous. The 2D representation is fine. It's just the 3D that ends up like this. Quote Link to comment
0 Bryan G.
its almost M.C. Escher in style, maybe you could charge more! but yes things like tis just should not happen. Quote Link to comment
0 Dieter @ DWorks
I mostly use the handrail tool seperatly to get a good looking one. Quote Link to comment
0 Patrick Fritsch
Well this post is from 2012...but WE STILL HAVE UGLY UNRESOLVABLE STAIR GUARDRAILS AND HANDRAILS....pretty simple basic stuff a BIM software package needs to be able to do. RANT OVER,...NUF SAID! BLA! 2 Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Well, this example is an architectonical problem. If you want a nice handrail (and Stair View from below) you would need to start the next flight with about one extra tread before the next riser starts. But doesn't help. Even when the Stair has enough space, the Handrail will not be ok in VW's Stair Tool 🙂 Quote Link to comment
