grant_PD
Say I want to list all viewports in a file and list their classes. Is this possible? How do I do that? Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
Ok, figured that out. But could I then, list all drawing labels, display their classes, and then change them all to a specific class without having to select each one individually? Or is this venturing into VS? Pat Stanford
Yes. Create a database showing the objects you want. Include a column with a formula of =C to show the class of each object. Manually edit one of the classes to be what you want. Copy that value. Select all of the subrows that you want to have that value. Paste. Paste in a VW worksheet is different than Paste in Excel. In a worksheet, if the copied area and the selection to paste into are different, VW will try to repeat the pasted value into all of the cells. If you only have a single cell copied, it will act to paste that value into all of the selected cells. Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
My paste option is greyed out when I right click on the subrows.... Quote Link to comment
