Hakman
I wish this will be possible to do, rather than framing the whole Ext wall. unless it can be done, and I am not aware of it. Please advise... Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Try this: Create a new Class ("frm'd walls", or sim.); assign that portion of the wall - that particular component - to the new class; in the Wall Fram Dialog select that class for framing. I'm not sure it will work, but it's worth a try. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
It is possible, if you turn off the classes of the other wall components Quote Link to comment
Hakman
CipesDesign, That is what I have in the above attachement. Jonathan, Maybe you can show me an example, I can only select one class from the AEC/Framing/Wall Framer, so I selected the 2x4 framing part of the wall component, I get the above error. djb
Just make a separate wall for the furring. Quote Link to comment
Hakman
The problem with making a separate wall which I did, Windows and Doors will only go through the first wall it touch. I ended up doing that, and customize the framing after... Which is a lot of work when there are many doors and windows. See attached image Quote Link to comment
