barkest
Hi, is there anywhere in 2012 that I can stop the scene re-rendering. For example if I have a final render and I open up the door settings then it just re-renders and keeps doing it each time I choose a different option in the dialogue box or even when just looking at document settings thanks Quote Link to comment
GWS
You can either try the ESC key or hold down the apple key and press '.' This will stop the rendering process but the screen may well be blank as it stops in mid process. I often switch to 'wireframe' while making adjustments. barkest
Thanks Guy, when the door settings dialogue is open then the escape key does not stope the render. You are right that switching to wireframe is the answer. I also thought that it may best to render in a viewport and stop rendering in the design layer (final render only in viewport) thank you Quote Link to comment
