Christiaan
Oh boy, this insidious one's caught us out a few times. Go to a viewport which has a lot of classes (enough that you have to scroll the Viewport Class Properties window to see them all). Now turn all them on or off using keyboard modifier (option-click on Mac), but don't scroll down, just click Okay. Now open window again and scroll. You should see that it hasn't changed the status of any classes that weren't visible. To get it to work you have to turn all classes on or off and then scroll the window so you've also seen all the classes before clicking on Okay. Everyone else get this behaviour? John Meunier
Yup same problem here. Happens in DLVP's as well. Also try selecting two DLVP, and editing the layers for both at the same time. Surprise, Surprise VW crashes. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
This is insidious because it sends you off in the wrong direction, thinking there's something wrong with workgroup referencing or something wrong with your model, etc. With so many bugs and deficiencies it's often hard to know whether the software is at fault or the user. This is what we spend a lot of our time trying to work out in a 3D workflow. Quote Link to comment
John Meunier
I'm always excited to update to the next VW's stay on top of technology. But, there is always a new learning curve.... To relearn the new bugs, sometimes the old ones come back! errr I love and loath updating vector works. In the end its always a net benefit to update, as long as I can quell my frustration. VincentCuclair
I might start sounding like a broken record but as soon as SP2 is out I'm placing my upgrade order, experience has taught me that most time consuming(frustrating) bugs like this one are fixed after that........ ben.jamin
What's also annoying is that I can't seem to switch the visibility of classes globally via the Organisation dialogue box. Which leaves the [also buggy] Viewport Class Properties as the only way to do it (slow if you have a lot of VP's). I have submitted this as a bug report. Quote Link to comment
