Christian Fekete
is there a way to orient the axis to match a different orientation than the standard one? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Architect, Landmark, Spotlight and Designer have a Rotate PLan function which the grid will reorient itself to. Fundamentals doesn't have this. The Angle part of the Smart Cursor Settings has an Alternate Coordinate System at angle... In 3D view the 3D axes can be rotated to whatever angle you want - just click on one of the red, green or blue axes dots and rotate to what you want. You can also move the origin by clicking on and dragging the centre dot. You can also place the origin with the Set Working Plane tool. If you have Automatic Working Plane on (toggled with the back slash key) you can draw directly on any surface of a 3D object. Quote Link to comment
