VS function made with SDK?

Hello, I develop quite complex PIO with Vectorscript but I loose lots of time rewriting basic function that are not available in Vectorscript. (String editing, 3D calculation, Lists sorting...)

Those function are of course available in C++

Do you now if it is possible to create VS functions with the SDK?

As far as I know, I do not think you can call external compiled libraries (*.dll). VS is confined to the procedures/functions defined in the compiler and ported from C++.

Why not build VS libraries of these basic functions and add them when needed with the {INCLUDE} directive?

Actually, you can build your own VS function calls as part of a vwlibrary target. Alternatively, you can also build your entire plug-in using the SDK, which may be easier if you already know c++. You may want to query the SDK mailing list: http://lists.nemetschek.net/archives/vwsdk-l.html

I actually don't know much about C++ but what I implement is really becoming to complex for VS. I need to get conformable with SDK, but that is a big step forward...

Is there a forum that work good for that?

(This one does not seem to bring much answers to the persons asking questions...)
