How to change plan cut height?

The Autohybrid command will do just that. You can select objects from your model, run Create Autohybrid and then determine the cut plane. You can specify how objects should look below the cut plane and above it. You can also choose to represent objects as a reflected ceiling plan.

For windows in walls, you can also specify dashed lines for clerestory windows above a cut plane height.

Hope that helps

You'll need to specify a little more what type of project and objects your considering.

Certain PIOs (Plug In Objects) have settings for this (windows, doors, stairs, trusses etc).

Certain Tools have settings for this (i.e. Hybrid Symbols, Auto hybrid etc.)

In addition there are several was to achieve this for the remaining objects e.g.. using different Layers, Classes and VPs (Viewports) with overrides etc.
