Guest
QuickTime 6 and VectorWorks 9.5.x export incorrectly cropped images on MacOS Apple has recently released QuickTime 6 for MacOS 9, MacOS X and Windows. This version of QuickTime contains a change which causes VectorWorks'"Export Image File..." command to generate incorrect exports. The result isan exported image which is shifted up and to the left by some amount andcropped inappropriately. This problem only happens in the final release version of QuickTime 6 onMacOS. The preview beta release and the Windows release do not exhibit thisproblem. We are working with Apple to resolve this problem. Until it isresolved, we recommend that all VectorWorks users (especially those runningunder MacOS) continue to use QuickTime 5. Paul C. Pharr7-30-2002 Quote Link to comment
Guest
On the QuickTime website there is a download that allows you to revert to QT 5 ... check that out for your resolution. We are waiting for Apple to fix the problem. If they don't fix the problem, we might look into fixing something in VW where applicable. Quote Link to comment
TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
Yeah, I installed the reverter and that fixes things. But still... Quote Link to comment
TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
I'm running OSX, and apparently I missed the point at which the updater snuck in QT6. Do we have any resolution to this yet? Quote Link to comment
