Display object name on Drawing as label.

Hi All

I am trying to display on my drawing the name of all objects in the drawing as a label that is connected to the object itself so that they behave in the same way as labels generated by the Lighting Label Legend.

I use geometric shapes in my drawings quite often and would prefer not to have to convert these to symbols in order to achieve this.

Is there a tool in Vectorworks which can do this which I am unable to find?

I am looking for an answer to the same question. Has anyone figured out a way to do this, or will I have to look into writing a script to accomplish this.
