beave
Just opened a 2012 file in 2013 and it has doubled all my lines (stacked) Even the view ports are doubled? Is there a way to fix this other then deleted one line at a time? Quote Link to comment
beave
Also, now I'm unable to open all files with 2012.... and there is no export option to 2012 in 2013. Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Beave the commercial versions of Vw 2013 can Export to six previous versions of Vw from 2012 all the way back to Vw 12 (see attached image). Are you using an NV Workspaces or a Workspace you have imported from an earlier version? I've converted quite a few files now and I'm not seeing that duplication. Have you checked the source file to make sure the doubling up is not in it? If it isn't try the conversion again. Quote Link to comment
beave
Looks like it was doubled in the source file... how does that happen? And is there anyway to get rid of the doubles? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Option clicking on selected objects will duplicate them. If the duplication happened recently check your backup files to see if that will save you having to deal with the problem. Otherwise you could try Vectorbits' Optimize Drawing plug-in which has an option to Delete Duplicate Objects. Given that the only other option is to laboriously edit the file it is probably worth a try. http://www.vectorbits.org/VectorBits_2011/vectorbits/vectorbits.html Make sure you try it on a copy of the file just in case there are problems. beave
Yes, option click will duplicate, but I didn't highlight all my floor plans and elevations plus view ports and option click them! Thanks for the link, I'll check it out Quote Link to comment
