defjef
Is the a way to release the currently selected tool ASIDE from clicking on "nothing" or clicking on a new tool? Is the a keystroke... like ESCAPE key? Can this be set up easily? VW 8.52... Quote Link to comment
Mat Caird
double clicking works for a lot of tools in 9.5 Quote Link to comment
MikeB
I've set up a keyboard short cut for the selection tool. You can do this is the workspace editor. It works well for me. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Hitting the "X" key will return the cursor (except when it's thr text tool that's active) PLC Quote Link to comment
Bryan_dup1
I've wondered how you get out of text, I've accidently entered hot key sequences in text blocks. from time to time. A helpful hint. Quote Link to comment
Matthew Giampapa
In 8.5.2, the hotkey commands should not switch you to another tool if you are already drawing. In Version 9, the behavior was changed to that a tool hotkey will abort the current tool and switch you to the hotkeyed tool The only exception to this are some VS tools, and the text tool. In the case of the text tool, you have to hit "escape" to exit out of the text entry mode before you can use a hotkey. Matthew GiampapaNNA Technical Support Quote Link to comment
TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
Use the Enter key on the number pad instead of the Return key on the main board. Quote Link to comment
