No one happens by chance to have a texture like this do they?

P.S. I find it astonishing that a company like Ibstock can't provide images or texture files for their products (and tell me they don't get asked for them).

If it was me I would make my own texture. First, obviously, I would need a good quality image to work with...

Since I'm such a nice guy I worked up this texture relatively quickly in Photoshop with a blue glazed brick texture that I already had. I have also attached my original source image in case you don't like mine.

I tried making one from the photos I posted, using Photoshop to take out the skew and perspective, but it didn't work out to well.

Hi Christian

I saw your post re Ibstock. This was created with the new surface array tool in 2013. Given that you could create the basic tile and add the texture you need, you could get a stunning result with this.

I needed a terracotta tile.

That's interesting Bill, thanks. Does that mean it would be possible to model plain roof tiles with the surface array tool instead of individual tiles as I have in the attached example?

The surface array takes some getting used to, but is potentially powerful. The answer to your question would I believe, be yes it is possible.
