Doors & Windows, Exterior vs Interior

willofmaine

Question

It would be good if the interior and exterior surfaces of door and window jambs were dictated by the leaf or sash, rather than the midpoint of the jamb (see attached).

This is also a problem with double hung windows, where half of the top or bottom of each sash will have the wrong finish.

Yes, either break the exterior/interior jamb line at the exterior face of the door leaf or window sash or at the center point of the leaf /sash.

This way you would be able to have a different color for each part of the jamb and it would not show.

Also,

There is no class for window muntins (grilles).

There is no class for mullions unless we use mullion tool and then assign it a class.

Thank heavens we are not rendering a Victorian home.
