Slabs: auto-bind to walls that are not joined

Question

I'm not sure about the implications but why do walls need to be joined in order for a slab to be bound to them? Can we have slabs that bind to walls even if they're not joined.

It would be useful if the both slabs and walls call be pinned to a guide line. We often have outdoor areas, semi exterior spaces or simple 'fin' walls extending beyond the slab.

You can use simple walls in a guide class for this. You can then bound slabs to them and let the space object calculate automaticly. You can set the guide class invisible in viewports, so you don't see them. Very handy, even to devide spaces in the building like kitchen and living area, where there is no physical wall.

Or you can use walls as other things that are there as boundaries like a railing etc....
