Door symbols and textures

Hi, Dealing with doors seems to be a recurring issue I'd love to figure out!

First problem, I can't seem to find any symbols, customs leaves, or any possibilities in the stock library for the most basic of exterior doors, say a frame and panel (or fake frame and panel) with partial glass. Using the standard options in the door tool all I seem to be able to do is configure all glass or all panel or solid doors. Am I missing something?

Next, when I use a custom leaf, any custom leaf, and set the class textures for the parts some parts don't render correctly, seem to defer to some texture I have no control of. Some parts render properly

Do I have any options short of drawing each door and then making it a symbol?
