The following is what I know: Volume = 0.662 cu.in. Density of 1018 Carbon Steel = 0.283 lb/cu.in. mass = volume/density weight = (mass) (gravity) Thank you, Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford Posted July 20, 2012 Share Posted July 20, 2012 0.662 cu. in. x 0.283 lb/ cu. in. = 0.187346 lb. Note that the cu. in. on the top cancel with the ones on the bottom to get the right unit (lb) for the answer. Quote Link to comment
