Markus Barrera-Kolb
Still using VW 2010 (Architect w/ RW). Have a European client here in the USA, so I'd like to display dual units. I've modified my Dimensions standard to display the secondary units and set the Rounding Precision for the Dual Dimensions to "1" (rather than ".1"). However, most of the dimensions are still displayed with one decimal place. Sub-millimeter display is really overkill here and I'd like to be able to turn it off; moreover, it seems like I should be able to. Any ideas? Thanks! Cheers, Markus Quote Link to comment
Mitchell Brooks
Markus, New dimensions will use the new setting (for 0 decimal positions) after you set it. It doesn't seem to affect existing dual dimensions, at least in VW 2011. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
If existing dims on the drawing need to be changed, try this: Select all the dimensions: Make dim class active, set class vis to Active Only, or make a Tools>Custom Selection>Class is> Dimensions, or just shiftclick each dimension needing change. Near bottom of OIP click the Sec (secondary dimension) radio button, Open the pulldown, and select No Fractions or None. This will remove all the decimals from the mm part of all the selected dims. Markus Barrera-Kolb
Thanks Benson, that approach worked perfectly! And you're right, Mitchell, newly created dims seem to work correctly, suppressing any digits to the right of the decimal point... Cheers, Markus Quote Link to comment
