Windoor: blurry window IDs on elevations

Recommended Posts

Turns out this is due to the problem of planar objects not being supported in Section Viewports. Remind me again why we pay money to this company?

As an analogy, if you're designing a refurbishment of someone's home and they're going to remain living in the property during the refurb, then you prioritise sequencing around the inhabitants, not the builder. Too often the development of VW is driven by developer priorities rather than user priorities.

If I had my board searching talents together I'd compile a comprehensive list of all these little half-baked goodies.

Might prove interesting to see them all together...or better yet for NNA to see them all together.

You know...it's quite amazing (or terrible) that this type of absolutely basic workflow isn't tested better (at all) before release.

Take the car industry for example, would it be acceptable when you have bought the car to find out the first time it's needed that there's no reverse gear? (The workaround would be to make sure you always have passengers who can get out and push.....)

I have given up trying to use weatherboard (sidings) textures because I can't get them to display correctly in Final RW, no matter what.

I've always assumed it was because my version of VW is too old and obsolete, but then I read posts like this and the problem is not too different to mine, so I think, why bother to upgrade if these sort of rudimentary things still ain't fixed?

It's a valid question. So to is the question: why continue using VW?

I feel like sending my file to Nemetschek and asking them to enter all the window numbers manually (and then resending it each time I change them)!
