Linds
Hi there, I am trying to draw a stage plot with some truss, but I can't figure out how to draw it so it is correctly viewable in multiple views (top/front/right etc). In top view I would think that the truss would only look like a square since it would be extruded down, and then in from front view you would be able to see the whole stick of truss. But I can't figure out how to do this. Maybe I have things confused but could really use some help. I could sketch out what I am trying to do if that would help anyone. Thanks!! Quote Link to comment
bcd
If you're using the Straight Truss tool there is a setting for Hanging Angle in the OIP which you change to 90? to achieve this. Otherwise, if using one of the hybrid symbols you need to delete the 2d component to enable rotations about the x or y-axes. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Try making SL Viewports. If you are using Spotlight trusses, then the 3D information is there. Example attached... hth mk Quote Link to comment
