Benson Shaw
Yes, Vectorworks Help needs a thorough review by a professional tech writer to make sure EVERY tool, command, PIO, function, etc with a name has a help topic with cross indexing to related topics and keywords. "Handrail" is one of many searches I have encountered resulting in incomplete hits for the full spectrum of related function in the software. "Handrail" search in the US version does not reveal the Objects from Polyline handrail option. It only highlights the railings tab within the stair tool. Related links at end of topic list also misses the Handrail/Objects from Polyline. Maybe we need a Help System bug reporting area. Or should we submit missing Help items in the regular Bug Submit? The user base would be an excellent source for improving the Help system. -B Quote Link to comment
bcd
Abandon AirHelp. Just open Acrobat & perform an advanced search on the Vectorworks>VWHelp>Additional Documentation>PDF help files. Quote Link to comment
Jaime
Vectorworks has gone from having the best documentation and help system to the worst. Lose the Adobe System it isn't working. All the help index should be reviewed and repaired. Quote Link to comment

Architosh
Not sure where to post this but I am getting the following error in my help system now. This happens when I got to launch help in VW 2012. "An error occurred while opening the help system. The "VWHelp" folder may be missing or contain invalid data. Please contact technical support for assistance." Quote Link to comment
