alain
I have to draw a polyline from many locus point (around 4500). Is there a way to draw a line between multiple 3d locus automaticly? Are you aware of a script that would do that? Thank you Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Nobody? I've wanted this function on several occasions. But I see some problems: Where is the start, the end? User defines with clicks? Closed loop? In what order shall the points be connected? Shortest path? Angle or radius limit? If making a NURBS curve through the points, can some be left out if they are way off? But there should be many situations where this idea could be applied. -B Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
If the loci were placed in the order they are to be connected, then it is a simple exercise to step through the stacking order and connect them with a script. If they were randomly placed then the algorithm needs a bit more refinement. Raymond Quote Link to comment
bcd
It's an interesting problem. Can you give us more information about the loci and the lines? Quote Link to comment
