D Wood
Ken In your wall class, have you selected textures for each side via the walls pull down menu? In the OIP, have you made sure each wall has class texture selected for each side? Edited May 16, 2012 by D Wood Quote Link to comment
kenfrederickson
that did it thanks. now for another question. now that the wall renders when i insert a door and give it a texture, the whole door frame, trim and all have the same texture. how do i contrast the door from the trim? kenfrederickson
Can i add a texture to an extrude along path? Quote Link to comment
D Wood
Ken The door should be in it's own class (with it's own texture), not the wall class. I use WinDoor from Ozcad, so I am not familiar with how to do classes within the standard VW door tool, but I think that you can set the class and texture for each component via Settings in the OIP - it might be different in later version of VW. CipesDesign
In the Door Settings dialog (via the OIP) is a tab called Classes. In there is the ability to set different class(s) for different parts of the the door... Make sure you 1) create the classes first, and 2) assign desired texture to each class, making sure that Use at Creation is checked... Quote Link to comment
