RESOURCE PALETTE ?

My resource palette in 8.5.1- all of a sudden has none of the buttons on the right side - it only has the navigable file tree

I rebuilt the desktop, trashed the preferences, and reinstalled the program, and the same thing has happened - I can't edit or import symbols as there are no buttons

any Ideas please?

at the top of the window there are the three buttons for close, zoom and windowshade. click on the zoom box and all will be well in the world.

Thanks!! I've been using VW for 11 years and that one had me stumped and frustrated - and of course, I'm in the midst of drawings that need to be sent tonite - thanks for taking the time to reply

and BTW I tried zooming the window with the lower corner, but it just made the existing window bigger; it didn't reveal the buttons

Scrool bars have to be displayed ...why, I don't know.Best regards.

In the resource palette, you should have a box in the upper left to close the palette, and two boxes in the upper right. The box to the far right is for windowshading, the box just to the left of that is for opening and closing pop out boxes such as the Enter, Find, Modify, etc buttons. If you just drag the lower right hand corner, this will only resize the current view of the palette.

This holds true for every window of applications and some of our palettse or windows inside of application windows.
