Hakman
Hi, What is the best way to deal with this issue in the site model? I've tried using Stake objects, Grade objects to make it smooth with no luck, This shows when lighting effects are on,see attached images It is a NURBS Curve with different Vertex Elevation Layer: DTM Class: Site-DTM-Modifier With a same shape Hardscape 3D Type: Texture Bed Modifier Main Texture: Grass Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
Which render method do you use? It seems to have something to do with the render method, probably being openGL? Quote Link to comment
Farookey
Hi... Is 'Mesh Smoothing...' turned on? 'Display' tab in 'Document Preferences'. Check 'Mesh Smoothing with Crease Angle', and adjust the angle (70 by default) if need be. HTH Quote Link to comment
Hakman
DWorks, I've used Realistic Exterior Fast on both images. Farookey, Mesh Smoothing was off, I will try again with that on. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Hakman
Farookey, I am Still playing with 'Mesh Smoothing" but so far it didn't solve the issue. Quote Link to comment
Farookey
I just realized that it is a NURBS Curve you have there, and not the Site Model itself. The Mesh Smoothing is for the Site Model when it is set to Mesh Solid, as well as for mesh objects. Unless you can convert the NURBS Curve to a mesh, my option wouldn't work. Sorry about that...
