Hickfang Posted June 18, 2002 Share Posted June 18, 2002 I downloaded the 9.5.2 fix and installed it on my 9.5.1 folder. When I get info on the application, it still says version 9.5.1. System software on Mac is 10.1.5. In an architectural drawing, I insert a window in a wall and it creates the opening, but has no elements of the window showing. If I place the window in a blank area of the drawing, it appears fine.When I run the updater, after selecting the folder, it takes less than a second to finish the installation. It doesn't appear to be working. What next? Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted June 18, 2002 Share Posted June 18, 2002 Did you isntall VW 9.5.1 on a different partition other than your primary partition? If it is not recognizing the installation, you can try to remove the preferences file for VW 9.5.1. Rename the folder back to VW 9.5.1. Then run the 9.5.1 application. THen run the VW 9.5.2 updater and see if that helps. If it doesnt, remove VW 9.5.1, then reinstall it, run the application one time, run the VW 9.5.2 updater and then rename the VW 9.5.1 folder to VW 9.5.2 and launch the application.
