archturn
Does anyone have a suggestion for converting a jpg image to a line drawing usable in VW? Is there software that will do this? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
No way that I know of, except to import the JPG, scale properly, then trace. Sorry... Quote Link to comment
IanH
Vectorworks does have a trace bitmap but I have only used it with limited success. Not sure if it is part of fundamentals or just the design series suite. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
There is a program called Imagaro Z. http://www.imagaro.com/ Designed for signmakers to convert raster to vector images. Available for both Mac and Windows. I have not used it but the demo at MacWorld is very impressive. Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
Many printing shops have this capability, i.e.. vectorizing images, don't find it very useful thought, lots of lines and dots, almost nothing is exact so it doesn't help very much if you want real accuracy...... Quote Link to comment
