2D objets in Section viewport

I can't manage to make 2D objects in 3D (like dimensions) appear in the section viewports. Can some one explain how to do, or is it impossible?

Select the VP and check the boxes in the OIP (object info palette) that control this visibility.

I don't see this check box in the OIP for Section viewport as a see it for regular viewports...

Why do Nemetschek so often develop new features only half way?

Maybe will have the answer in VW2025...

This should really be an option!

Now you have to change your polgons and lines to 3D-poly`s to see them... it works but it is stupid.

if 2d objects are drawn on a working plane as opposed to screen plane then they appear in section viewports.

We have come across issues however with text (2d text in a 3d plane) in hybrid symbols not appearing in a hidden line render in section VP. Works fine if it is just an object but not when it is in a hybrid symbol
