Cadplan Architecture
Does anyone know if the attribute pallet can be customised to make it bigger? In standard form it's very fiddly particularly when selecting lines types and thicknesses, but worst is selecting the line endings, the buttons are tiny. Quote Link to comment
bc
Common complaint yet to be acted upon. Quote Link to comment
IanH
Simple fix, buy a Windows PC. Quote Link to comment
bc
Seriously? VW will let it be done on a PC but not on a mac? What gives? Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
Seriously? VW will let it be done on a PC but not on a mac? What gives? It's not the fault of VW, it's a mac thing where everything is how mac wants it. Mac is great but not highly customizable. Quote Link to comment
Chris D
It's not the fault of VW, it's a mac thing where everything is how mac wants it. Mac is great but not highly customizable. Nonsense. VW engineers can change the attributes palette any time they like. And yes, they should. Quote Link to comment
serbuncle
You can make the palette SLIGHTLY bigger by clicking the maximise (green button with + sign) at the top. Quote Link to comment
D Wood
Serbuncle My heart skipped faster when I read your post, but alas, all the little green button does is make the pallette bigger, not the items within. Quote Link to comment
bc
I can see that the items within my pallet do get just a little bit bigger...but alas it remains woefully tiny. Quote Link to comment
cad@sggsa
Hi Not sure how a Mac handles this, but if you Dock the pallets you will could change the size - not? Quote Link to comment
Chris D
Hopefully Lion / Mountain Lion support will finally give us full screen mode that, fingers crossed, includes docking palettes on the Mac. Quote Link to comment
cad@sggsa
WOW! Something that makes using a PC better than a Mac. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Yeah, we'll give you that one. Quote Link to comment
Ozzie
Yeah, we'll give you that one And if you were totally honest lots of other things too Now how about iphone versus Android and Flash etc etc No really I do not want to go there Except to say it is getting boring all these iphone users switching over to SG2s  Edited May 2, 2012 by Ozzie Quote Link to comment
Chris D
Yeah, we'll give you that one. Too generous. Look how UGLY it is on Windows! Seriously...that's not on Windows 7 is it? It looks like Windows 95! Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
Seriously...that's not on Windows 7 is it? It looks like Windows 95! VW still uses the old way of showing palettes on screen. In Win7, you are still able to set all of windows that way. It is ugly, but personnaly, still better than the mac look. Quote Link to comment
cad@sggsa
I can make it look pritty, but I don't use VW to win a Fashion show. You can set it to look less like an MS-DOS version, but the shortfall of PC processing not being up to MAC capability, it is better to have the system looking stock and performing to Max, than a Barbie loooking failure. And even with this I can encounter VW crashing several times in one day when managing small tasks. Quote Link to comment
