I'm trying to export to a .dwg file, when I do everything is all grouped together on one layer. Is there a way to export the model so the slopes are on separate layers? Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted April 6, 2012 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 6, 2012 Hi John DWG supports a single "model space", while we lucky VW users can split up our model space into multiple design layers. When exporting, you have the choice on the dialog of exporting design layers as separate dwg files only. Vectorworks classes, by default, become DXF layers. But, you could export your design layers as dwg layers by checking the appropriate button on the export dialog. BUT, you will then lose your classes. Hope that helps Quote Link to comment
