geoform
I'm designing a simple tennis court layout and the project works fine in wireframe, but I can't get any color except black and white, and layers are no longer working. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted April 1, 2012 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 1, 2012 Which render mode are you using? Have you tried a restart of the machine and Vectorworks? WHen you say the Layers are no longer working, do you mean that you cannot change your active design layer? Or that they do not change to a 3D view? Are you using Unified View? Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Tamsin, I think this is an April Fools post..... Kevin Quote Link to comment
geoform
Did my signature block give it away? Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Actually it was the sense of nostalgia created when I looked at the image :-) Kevin Quote Link to comment
geoform
Yes, that was a lot of fun. I also checked out a few clips of PONG gameplay while I was looking for an image and I can tell you I don't miss those beeps. John Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted April 2, 2012 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 2, 2012 I'm STILL thinking you can get Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc to produce a service pack for you... to cater for your need to run on this OS! I am sure there would be a market for it. It could be called Vectorworks Nostalgia Edition. Quote Link to comment
geoform
Tamsin; I'm convinced that if anyone could get Vectorworks to run on an Atari 2600, you could! In fact, I think you should ditch the Tamsinia robusta nickname and go for something more fitting: Tamsinia splendens Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted April 3, 2012 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 3, 2012 Hah, you are very kind, but I get "robusta" with each passing day and each chocolate bar! Quote Link to comment
geoform
Nice one! But I'm not convinced. Please turn to page 516 in your hymnal (if your hymnal happens to be "Botanical Latin" third edition, that is) splendens: shining, gleaming, brilliant. you gotta love brilliant! Now I'm going to figure out what happened to my stake object since it's gone missing from my plugins folder along with a few other plugins. Maybe they've made a break for it. Bryan G.
John, Good one! All I got for April Fools day was my truck stolen! It was two OLD people that said they were getting even with me for all those teen years. Figured they would let that one lie after all these years. No really though, I like the pong render. you had me wondering what kind of strange tennis court you were designing. Must be a west side thing. Quote Link to comment
