Triangulation Lines in Open GL

Anyone know why triangulation lines appear on the face of 3D objects in Open GL views? Funny thing is that the same file appears differently across my machines - on my laptop it doesn't show them and I get nice clean faces, but my Mac Pro shows these lines, which is rather annoying...
