I use the B&W option in the Advanced tab of my Sheet Layer Viewports all the time. I wish choosing that option did not affect the Viewport's Annotations.
Often I want to homogenize (ie. make B&W) someone else's crazy colourful Autocad layers and then flag things in colour in my annotations....
