I'm currently setting the properties of the space object for our own standards and finding some things that need improvement or just being needed:
- The name and custom name fields should be the same. If you just want the name in a worksheet, I just want to ask the name and not want to know where the name is. Because now when the users have selected a name from the standard name list, it is in name and when they have chosen to enter a custom name, it is in custom name. So just let the chosen name also being copied to custom name.
- The same is for the occupancy type.
- The 3D volume. We should be able to bound this to our story elevations. We now only can use wall heights of the layer they are on to automatically have them, but what when you have a lower ceiling or a higher floor in some rooms?
- We can set which properties we want to show on the oip, but it would be nice if we could set the order of them too so that we can set the most important ones for us at the top and don't need to scroll when working with spaces.
