shibo82
Hello Does anyone know if there is a download or a patch or something that means I can install my copy of Vectorworks 12 onto my mac pro? I had it installed on my G5, bought a new mac pro and now it won't even entertain the idea of installing as the programme is for a power pc and a mac pro is an intel mac. None compatible apparently. Surely there is a solution so I don't have to spend over a thousand pounds on a newer version of Vectorworks??? Any help would be much appreciated Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Vectorworks 2009 is the oldest version supported on newer Macs. Quote Link to comment
RWSD
I use VW12 on an Intel Macbook Pro; It runs fine on OS10.5.8, so I expect it is the later operating system that is the problem. Ronnie Quote Link to comment
bcd
I too have VW12.5 on mbp 10.6.8 which seems to run fine whenever I need it. I expect Lion or ML will put an end to that though - such mercy killings are for the first time making me reluctant to 'upgrade'. Quote Link to comment
jenkarmia23
I am a newbie to VW. I am running 12.5 on a mac desktop. Can anyone running this version tell me how to download a library of architectural resources? I had a full library of furniture, sinks, symbols, trees, etc. on my computer, then my office switched the software to a newer computer and my library is gone!!! I can only pull symbols/plugins out of other open VW files now. If anyone can help, I would be so grateful! Quote Link to comment
shibo82
Yes, it's Lion that's the killer. That's another 2k to find then! Jolly good..... Quote Link to comment
