TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
#26143. #23742. Or whatever. These are known bugs. Why does Nemetschek not make publicly available a list of active bugs as of a particular version? This WOULD save a lot of people a lot of time and grief; this would also save NNA time going and searching to see whether or not an anomaly is a bug or not.Granted, type classification would be a given (as is used by NNA developers, right?!) but just some basics to cut the number down to a couple hundred. Or so. Be bold! Be daring! Expose what you know! Please. Quote Link to comment
Matthew Giampapa
The bug list is used to track bugs internally for the developers. We give customers the bug # so they can follow up later to find out if it has been fixed. It's just simpler for us. If you have a question about a particular bug, I can answer it, but I don't think there is a chance that they will publish the whole database. TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
But why not? Katie had been asking for suggestions for a Knowledge Base; this would be a good place for it. Not only does it help the dev team, but it would save me a ton of time. Quote Link to comment
Matthew Giampapa
O.K. We will bring it up at the next meeting. I can't promise anything, but I have a few ideas on how to implement such as system so I'll see what they say. Matthew GiampapaNNA Technical Support Quote Link to comment
