Don Chin
I am trying to create a rendered floor plan simply by drawing a polyline around a floor plan and creating a viewport and then rendering the viewport in Open GL and the other Renderworks styles. The model has textures applied. One problem I find is that because the rendering styles put the view into Top Plan View, the door openings do not show up, as attached sketch shows. Is there an easy way to create a rendered floor plan or any way to use the section viewport to cut horizontally through a plan? Thanks - Donald Quote Link to comment
bcd
2 options that might work: Duplicate the viewport an show only the doors using Class visibilities & overrides in Top Plan view. Open the doors in 3d via the Door Setting - Open in 3d ? Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
Like bcd said, use 2 viewports on top of each other. Then you'll have to play with various settings of class and class attributes and view options. Here is an example of how we use it when we want 3D like floor plans: Quote Link to comment

Don Chin
Thanks so much for all the helpful advice. Pretty simple solutions, though it would be nice if it was one step. -Donald Quote Link to comment
