closedmondays Posted November 24, 2011 Share Posted November 24, 2011 I am referencing symbols from a "Symbol Library" File on my server. Within this file the symbols are distributed into 3 different symbol folders, Namely small power, lighting, and heating. I managed to reference in all symbols into a new file, maintaining the folder heirarchy. Whilst working on thos file I have noticed that some of the symbols are no longer referenced but have infact been imported. So I re- referenced them through the resources browser to no avail. I have also broken the reference and recreated it also with no success. I am wondering if there is a limit to the amount of referenced symbol folders one can import. Stan Rostas Posted November 29, 2011 Share Posted November 29, 2011 This is a known bug with Vectorworks 2011 whereby Symbols in working in a file may at times break this link and have the symbol as within the file. If you have not already you may consider upgrading to 2012 as this issue has been fixed. Regards Quote Link to comment
