VincentCuclair
Is there a way to get textures applied to Wall Components to align with one another? Quote Link to comment
Horst M.
It is possible to adjust the texture with the Horizontal and Vertical offset under the Render Tag in the OIP. ... by typing in Numbers. The one under the Roof in the image attached, in did with try and error. Whenever you change something in the Wall or the Roof the alignment has to be redone. It was much easier, to uncheck create "Gable Walls" in the Roof PIO, and then align the Wall to the Roof. Then it there is just one Wall under the Gable, and the alignment Problem doesn't exist. the frog
In the French version there is in object info, at the very bottom ?position par rapport ? une origine Z absolue?. You should have the same in your version. If you say yes then all the textures are lining up. This is necessary for the brick walls and lot of other joints. Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
Both these options don't exist for textures applied to wall components in predefined wall types........unfortunately. Edited November 20, 2011 by Vincent C Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted November 21, 2011 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 21, 2011 Hello Vincent: We changed the wall by component behavior so that textures would line up in X, Y, and Z for 2012, not just in Z. The bug files I have look better in 2012 than in 2011 in this regard. Can you send me this file so I can debug it? Quote Link to comment
