VW 2012 Radiosity?

Sorry for the very dumb question.

I just received a copy of VW Architect-Renderworks 2012 (I was still using 2008) and started playing around without studying it much honestly.

I noticed a big improvement in its rendering speed but I didn't see the Radiosity option under view-rendering (now that maybe it is viable for the first time, given the rendering speed...)

Is it hidden somewhere else?

You can get at the indirect lighting options in the custom renderworks options.

I don't think you can save the solution though. It will compute a new global illumination solution each time.

Radiosity has been replaced by something much simpler to manage!

Go to View>Lighting>Set Lighting Options and you'll see Indirect Lighting. You have three choices - single bounce, two bounces or four bounces.

I wrote a migration guide this time last year which might help you with the transition from the old render engine to the new CINEMA 4D based render engine.

Ooops Grant and I pressed Submit at the same time. Yes - it will calculate GI each time. The full version of CINEMA 4D does cache the GI solution.
