Tom Klaber
Is there a way to customize the way Vectorworks displays dimensional data in symbols and worksheets? It may seem like a small thing - but I would like to add a dash in between the feet and inches of a dimensional read out. Right now in my VW Door schedule, for example, a doors width will read 2'8". I would like it to read 2'-8". We find this much easier to read. I also have created symbols with dimensional record fields that suffer from the same lack of formatting. Is there a way to customize this? Thanks, Tom Quote Link to comment
RickBern
Tom! Good to see you're still having problems. Don't see any way to format it. Seems a shame. Hope all's well, Rick Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I tried to do this once and tested the patience of all my vector scripting betters. Doesn't look possible. mk Quote Link to comment
bcd
In a worksheet one trivial way would be to have 3 columns without a vertical border between, one for feet, one for your dash and one for inches. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
It all breaks down when you try to get fractions. Quote Link to comment
