beave
I want to find some great detailing books to buy so I have something to refer too. I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations/favorites that you'd like to share. What are you thoughts on: Architectural graphic standards for residential construction - Ramsey / sleeper Anyway, just wanted to get an idea of what your guys have. Thanks, Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Arch Graphic Standards is a must have on your shelf. What it lacks in "soul" it makes up for in encyclopedic completeness. Also check out F Ching's Building Construction Illustrated. Awesome hand drawn details and really great descriptions and studies of all the various elements that go into the design, drafting and construction of buildings. Quote Link to comment
beave
I'll look for that book. Does anyone own the 11th edition of the Architectural Graphic Standards? I've read it wasn't as informal as the 10th addition? Trying to find a copy of the 10th edition is pretty challenging though... well there are copies, but really expensive ones. Is it worth my while to hunt down the 10th edition? Quote Link to comment
