michelle l
Anyway to set that so another class like "dimension2" works automatically (like when class defaults to the dimension class when you use dimension tool no matter what class you are in) in another layer? michaelk
My memory of 12 is a little fuzzy, but... I know you can't have dimension objects assign themselves to different classes dependent on what the active layer is. But I think v12 allows you can change the class to which dimension objects auto assign in preferences. If that's true you could manually switch the auto dimension class. hth mk Edited October 19, 2011 by michaelk Quote Link to comment
bcd
You can turn off automatically using Dimension Class via: File>Document Settings>Document Prefrences>Dimensions - 'create dimensions in dimension class' Quote Link to comment
