Truncated roof face problem

Haha, that's because your roof isn't drawn correctly. do this to solve this:

* Select your roof face in plan view.

* See the line with the arrow in the center.

* Move this line up your roof so that it's above all eaves. (from the roof face point of view)

* See that all eaves are correctly drawn.

The thing with roofs is that the eave you set only happens on the lower side of the roof of the above stated line.

Does not work, Mr. Know-it-all. Thanks for laughing at me.

Your last sentence read, "The thing with roofs is that the eave you set only happens on the lower side of the roof of the above stated line."

Duh! So do you understand the problem or don't you?

I was not laughing at you. Send me the file and I'll show it to you.

Ok, I tested the problem and I guess I was wrong about it. In a sense I was correct, but it only works when your eaves are square.

If you use other types, I would suggest drawing your roof in pieces, that will solve the problem. You just have to hide edges in order to show it right in plan view. In hidden line, you will not see a line between the two.
