jtml
The default sheet color has a slight green color in Vw 2012. Is that on purpose. And is there a way to get it back to white. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Design layer and sheet layer background colors are slightly different (to provide a visual cue to help keep track of where you are? - relieve eye strain of new super bright screens?). You can change the color in Preferences > Interactive > Interactive Appearance Settings.... mk Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Donald Ward (VN lead trainer) showed our VWX user group that feature at our last meeting. It's mainly used so you can see white filled objects. Looks like a good idea to me. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted October 8, 2011 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 8, 2011 It's definitely a great idea to have the different background colours. We are finding it really useful in training new users. So much easier to understand exactly where you are in the application. Quote Link to comment
bcd
It's the first thing I noticed about 2012, however I've been finding it distracting so everything is back to white or very pale. Quote Link to comment
Bryan G.
bcd, you can change or modify this background to anything you would like. Quote Link to comment
Bryan G.
just curious what did you find distracting about it? Quote Link to comment
bcd
Oh, I know, I tweaked it several ways from pale to charcoal - I though I'd love it but my eye kept telling me there's a bigger object in the background. Matter of habit I assume, I'll probably play with it another time when I have a chance. Quote Link to comment
Bryan G.
background! No really thats interesting, haven't noticed it yet but now that you mention it it'll probably bother me too. Quote Link to comment
