Ed Wachter
I previously worked at an office that had some sort of magic symbol (or plug-in or something) that showed the current time, date and file name as soon as we selected the print command. We'd keep a copy of this in the corner of our drawings so every print would show this info. Anyone know how to create or where to get such a thing? Quote Link to comment
Ed Wachter
Oh I forgot to mention that I've tried that tool. The problem is that is does not update. It only displays the info that's current at the time the stamp is applied. The one I previously used updated each time the print command was used. Thanks for the reminder about my version / hardware info. I'll ad that to my profile. Quote Link to comment
Pete (STZ)
The 'Date Stamp' works very well. We use it all the time in title blocks. When you export the pdf or print make sure the "Reset all plug in objects' is ticked in the print / export dialog box. Set it once and forget! 1 Quote Link to comment
Ed Wachter
Oh. That's so simple. I was exploring custom scripts previously discussed on the Forum. Now I don't need to know how to edit scripts. Thank you! Quote Link to comment
Ed Wachter
Yes, it's working although our we typically use a symbol for out title block and the stamp does update inside out title clock symbol. Is there some way to make this happen? Quote Link to comment
