Siva
Draw an object (rectangle or polygon). Give a fill. Click on the fill at attribute palette. Color pattern opens. Click on color wheel at top. When you try to move the slider on the right side up or down to darken or lighten the color, program freezes and crashes. This happens on VW10, 11 & 12. I wish I can attach a picture to explain more clearly, but I don't have my own web site to do that. Can somebody help me how to resolve this please. Thanks. Siva. Pat Stanford
Do you truly mean Vectorworks 10, 11 and 12 or do you mean Vectorworks 2010, 2011 and 2012? If the first, they are not compatible with OS X 10.5 If the latter, it sounds like an operating system problem and the color wheel is an OS level function, not a VW function. Can you try using the color wheel in any other programs? Illustrator or Photoshop maybe? Quote Link to comment
Siva
It is VW 2009, 2010, & 2011. This color wheel is within the program. A colleague of mine running this same program on Windows and he has no problem. Siva. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Do you also use sketchup? There was / is a sketchup bug that causes this. Something about sketchup renaming the OS colors. Mac OS 10.6.3 learned to ignore the new names. See this thread: site:techboard.nemetschek.net hth mk Edited September 29, 2011 by michaelk Quote Link to comment
