alfresco
I have a landscape plan and want to have some preliminary budget forcast. I have a number of hardscapes identified on the plan. There are different cost per square foot or length or volume for each. I can't seem to enter different costs per unit ie square ft or linear ft for each hardscape hardscape. How do i forcast costs on a hardscape work sheet based on area volume etc per hardscape unit given didfferent price factors apply? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
You certainly can enter different prices for different hardscapes. Select a hardscape and look in the Object Info Palette. There are fields for Main Unit Price and Border Unit Price. You can then use these in a worksheet to generate a total cost. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted August 27, 2011 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 27, 2011 If you look in the Design-Build Sample file that comes in the resources with Vectorworks, you will find an example of a worksheet that queries these prices. Quote Link to comment
alfresco
Thanks for your help. I have entered the cost items for the variouos hardscapes in the info pallette. I however would like to create a seperate cost column on the worksheet that calculates the total cost for each hardscape element based on the total area and cost per unit value such as square foot or lineal ft etc. Is this possible? I am doing something wrong of simply do not understand. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
maybe you need an introduction to using worksheets... The Essential Tutorial manual as one, and there are kindle books that cover worksheets. Quote Link to comment
alfresco
Are there any sources for landscape class standards to be used as a document template? Thanks Quote Link to comment
